Heavy Lies the Crown

Before the crown comes the work.

A future king enters a master craftsman’s workshop expecting a lesson in skill. Instead, the work forces him to confront the distance between inheriting power and becoming worthy of it.

For readers who love the humanity of Terry Pratchett and the earned ideals of The Stormlight Archive and The Wheel of Time, this is a thoughtful fantasy tale about responsibility, humility, and the true weight of a crown.
